OUR HISTORY
Ellison Technologies Automation was originally founded in 1983 under the name Automated Concepts, Inc. As the vision of Marlo Burg, John Burg and Fuchs Machinery of Omaha, ACI established an integrated robotic system company to meet the needs of various factory automation needs of various manufacturing industries.

Over the next two decades ACI successfully integrated more than 1,200 industrial robotic systems, thus positioning itself as a robotics industry leader.

Based in Council Bluffs , Iowa , Ellison Technologies Automation offers design, manufacturing, integration and services for a wide variety of industrial automated robotic systems.  These systems include robotic palletizing, robotic welding, robotic assembly, robotic machine loading and unloading and robotic material handling and removal.  In addition, ACI provides indexing tables, positioners, robotic transport units and electrical control panels.

With its expertise in robotic automation integration, ACI has provided custom turnkey solutions for many Fortune 500 companies in the Agricultural, Medical, Automotive,  Military and Consumer industries.

On October 1, 2004 Automated Concepts, Inc. was acquired by Ellison Technologies of Santa Fe Springs, California. The two long-standing business partners bought into common ownership control and the extensive integration capabilities of ACI with the Ellison Technologies companies operating across North America .
